So you want to know about me? Well this page and site has said many things over the years, from being a whole life story to being just a few sentences. One thing I can be sure about, this version won't be my life story :)

My name is Adam Cowell, I am 28 years old and I live in Worcester, which for those who not know where it is, it is about 30 miles south of Birmingham. For those wondering about my sexuality then I am gay and I am currently in a long term relationship with my boyfriend called Jonathan who I love loads. However we do not live together. He lives in Leicester so we only get to see each other every 1 or 2 weeks.

I currently work for a ISP and Web Hosting company on their Technical Support line. Which as you can imagine can be stressful and occasionally entertaining as it never ceases to amaze me how stupid some people are, and also how rude and vile some people can be. If getting ADSL installed is going to take 7 days then it is going to take 7 days, there is no way it can be done sooner no matter how much someone shouts, screams, makes threats. Mentioning the managing directors name isn't scary. I have worked for a number of companies on their technical support line and their sites all have managing directors name on, so saying, "i'm going to speak to..." just means you know how to read a name off a website and ADSL is still going to take 7 days.

This will come as no suprise to anyone that knows me that I am a self confessed geek. I love computers and run a number of Websites. I currently have a number of Apple computers, I used to run Linux on a number of PC's, even contributed to a number of Open Source projects. However in recent years got frustrated by the bloat that was appearing in the Linux desktops, and as always liked Mac's graduated over to Apple Macs as its easy to use, fast even with the look of desktop, and has BSD backend so can open a terminal window and use the unix commands I am used to.

As I mentioned in last paragraph I also run a number of websites. My largest and oldest site is Gaylifeuk at http://www.gaylifeuk.com, I also run the site Daihatsu Drivers at http://www.daihatu-drivers.co.uk which is a members site for people who drive Daihatsu's in the UK. The last site I run is Fyrewire at which is a UK base hosting and web design company http://www.fyrewire.com.

So what do I like? Well music wise I like a wide variety of music, but the type of music I listen to most often are 80's, early 90's, The Divine Comedy, and a bit of the Rasmus. Also listen to a reasonable amount of cheesey typically gay anthem music, and I obey the gay law of owning Steps albums. TV wise I like Sci-fi and drama programs. At the moment my favourite programmes are 24, Supernatural, Bones, Dr Who, The 4400, Family Guy, Dragons Den, and Top Gear.

The last thing I like are Japanese cars. Hence why I currently drive a Daihatsu YRV Turbo which are a 1.3 litre engine, however it is 130bhp so nice and fast, and has triptronic gearbox which I leave on Auto as I am lazy. :) I did used to have a Mitsubishi Pajero 2.8 SWB which I loved however being a 4x4 it drank fuel and sky high insurance so have to unfortunately get rid of it as couldn't afford to run it. Did also own a Peugeot for almost 6 months however it was so sluggish it proved that the Japanese know how to get the most power out of engines and are very reliable.
